Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Aurora application. Aurora is a personal dashboard in private development and closed testing — not a launched product, not a commercial service, and not something you should rely on for anything that matters.
Who provides Aurora

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to use Aurora. When you create an account you confirm that you are. Aurora does not verify your age, and does not ask for your date of birth in order to check it.
Access during this period is by invitation, for testing. You should not share access with anyone else or invite others on Aurora’s behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. If you sign in with Google, your Google account’s security is effectively your Aurora account’s security too.
Please tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. Aurora is in development, so there is no account-recovery process beyond the password reset built into the sign-in screen.
Acceptable use
Do not use Aurora to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- attempt to reach another person’s account or information;
- probe, attack, overload, or disrupt Aurora or the outside services it relies on;
- copy, resell, or redistribute content Aurora displays from other providers; or
- automate access in a way that places unusual load on Aurora or those providers.
That last point is not housekeeping. Aurora draws on services whose terms permit personal, non-commercial use only, and misuse would jeopardise access for everyone, not only for you.
The information Aurora shows you is informational only
Weather, severe-weather alerts, radar, travel times, news, sports, calendar contents, and readings are provided for general information. They come from outside sources, they can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and Aurora does not independently verify them.
Do not rely on Aurora for any decision where being wrong matters — including severe weather, emergencies, travel or medical decisions, or anything affecting safety. For official weather warnings, always use your national weather service directly. Aurora is a convenience, not a safety system.
Availability
Aurora is under active development. It may be unavailable, may lose features, may change without notice, and may contain defects. No uptime, accuracy, or continuity is promised, and parts of it may stop working when an outside service changes.
Because information you create is stored in your own browser rather than on a server, it can be lost — by clearing your browser data, by switching device or browser, or by a fault. Aurora keeps no backup and cannot restore anything. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.
Outside services
Aurora displays content from third parties and relies on external services for sign-in, maps, weather, news, and sports. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, they are responsible for their own content and conduct, and Aurora does not control them. Linking to them is not an endorsement. The Privacy Policy names the ones in use.
Intellectual property
Aurora’s own design, text, and software belong to its operator. Content shown from outside sources belongs to those sources and is displayed under their terms. What you write in Aurora stays yours — and since it is stored in your browser rather than on a server, Aurora does not hold it, claim it, or make any use of it.
Suspension and ending access
Access may be suspended or withdrawn at any time during this development period, including if these terms are broken or if testing ends. You may stop using Aurora whenever you like by signing out and clearing its data from your browser.
Deleting your account is not available yet — see the Privacy Policy, which sets out plainly what can and cannot be removed today.
Disclaimers
Aurora is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. It is not promised to be uninterrupted, accurate, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, and given that Aurora is a free application in private testing, the operator is not liable for loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.
Nothing here attempts to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
Aurora and these terms may change. When something meaningful changes — new obligations, a change to what Aurora collects or who receives it, or a change to liability or governing law — the version shown at the top changes, and Aurora will ask you to read and accept the new version before you can carry on using your account.
Simply carrying on using Aurora is not treated as accepting a material change. The agreement in force is the version you actively accepted, and a new one takes effect only when you accept it. Minor wording corrections that do not change what Aurora does will not interrupt you and do not require re-acceptance.
Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction to be specified before public launch] No governing law or venue has been selected yet, and this draft deliberately does not assert one. The applicable law will be stated here before Aurora is made available to the public.
